What type of information do we collect?
We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide to us in any other way. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. You are given the option to accept or refuse cookies on our website.
If you e-mail us, or go directly to our self-service platform, we will collect any information you provide such as your name/company name (for business clients), e-mail address, telephone number, postal address (for hard copy translations, if requested), language preference, currency for quoting, as well as any other information including the source documents themselves, for the purposes of offering you a seamless service.
Document Storage and Confidentiality
All documents submitted by e-mail will be securely stored on a password-protected computer, behind a firewall, securely backed-up and treated with complete confidentiality. Documents submitted to the self-service platform AcudocX are subject to the separate privacy and document security arrangements of that third party service.
If a quote is issued but the project does not go ahead within a period of 60 days, your name and contact information will remain saved as a lead for future marketing purposes, although the documents themselves will be permanently deleted. Current and completed translations and source documents are retained for statutory record-keeping purposes, as well as for building client-specific glossaries and translation memories to facilitate consistency between translations on the same topic or for a particular client over time.
At busy times, during holidays, or if you are requesting language services in the other direction, (out of English), Anna will advise at quote stage if she may need to work with another NAATI Certified translator for the purposes of providing the services, and will request your prior permission to share your document with the other translator as necessary. Acceptance of such a quote is given as express/implied consent to proceed in such a way. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Payment Details
We never see or collect your payment details; all payments for language services are conducted either via bank transfer (initiated by you and handled by your bank) or there is a direct payment gateway option on all invoices via Paypal, to ensure the secure handling of credit card information, which we cannot see and will never ask for ourselves.
